Mrs. Solone C. Henderson, 84, of 636 Western Rd. died at 8:25 a.m. yesterday in Waynesboro Community Hospital.
She was born at Love on April 3, 1900, a daughter of Frances E. and Sally Snead Campbell. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro.
Her husband, Cloudy Henderson, died May 4, 1947.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors are nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Dr. J. Whitner Kennedy and the Rev. Richard A. Koster. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Lee Maupin, James Dudley, Morris Puckett, Raymond Courtney, Thurman Hewitt and William Loving.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Nellie Campbell, Mrs. Mildred Shull, Mrs. Irene Lam, Mrs. Irma Mahler, Mrs. Delia Childress, Mrs. Dorothy Puckett, and the Ladies of the Circle of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
