TWIN to Norma Leona Anderson Gaines Peterson

Norman Leon "Wick" Anderson, 60, of Galena, died at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, June 16th, 2001, following a long illness. He was born on Nov. 7, 1940 to William Henry and Arietta (Sweet) Anderson. He was a lifelong resident of Galena.
On Nov 7, 1970, he married Connie Koon at Galena. She survives.
Mr. Anderson purchased the Paddoc Liquor Store on State Line Road in 1979, and operated it for 22 years.
He was a member of the Riverton Friends Church and the Galena Elks Lodge.
Additional survivors include three sons, Lorn Anderson of the home, Norman Perry Anderson of Riverton and Damon Kyle Anderson of Coffeyville: one step-saughter, Teresa Marie Scott of Seneca, MO; a brother, Ralph Edward Anderson of Galena; two sisters, Hazel Marie Bankson of Galena and his twin, Norma Leona Peterson of the St. Louis area; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, with the Rev Wes Davis and Chaplain Alan Gaines officiating. Funeral rites will be conducted by the Galena Elks Lodge. The family will remain at the funeral home following the service to receive friends. Mr Anderson will be taken for cremation following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena.
