FORESTINE LOUISE FREEMAN, 89, Kansas City, passed away at her home on June 5, 2010.
Forestine was born on January 28, 1921 in Henrietta, MO, to Charles and Melvina Halterman.
She is preceded in death by two daughters, Jeanette Rocha and Wilma Dubois, both of Kansas City, MO.
Survivors include a son, Johnie Garcia, Jr., of Independence, MO; three daughters, Dixie Cain, of Kansas City, MO; Juanita Smith, of Sun City, AZ; and Barbara Claibourn, of N. Kansas City, MO; 14 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, from 12-1 p.m., at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel with service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any hospice.
