Dawson Makyah Dingman, 9, died Friday, May 28, 2010, in Andover. He was born Nov. 7, 2000. He was a student at Prairie Creek Grade School, Andover.

He is survived by his father, Scott Dingman; his brothers, Keaton, Sage and Jory; his sisters, Kyha and JaeLynn, all of Andover, his grandparents, Ira Dingman, Derby, Patricia Smith, Sheri Baringer and Randy Castor, all of Wichita, and great-grandparents, Darryl Rucker of Sharon, Sonny and Margaret Dingman and Lewis Proffit, all of Wichita, and Sharlene Hayes, Kansas City, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dacia Piersall-Dingman; a great-grandmother, Bertie Rucker and a great-grandfather, Marvin Castor.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvary's Rock Church, Wichita, and 10 a.m., Saturday at the Community Bible Fellowship Church, Medicine Lodge. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge.
