Osmond Young Lady Dies from Diphtheria
Elnora, 13 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Billerbeck, of Osmond, died Saturday, October 11, at the home of her parents. The young lady had been sick several days with tonsillitis and it was thought she was recovering, when diphtheria set in. On account of the nature of the disease, funeral services were held at the house the following Monday.
Miss Elnor was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billerbeck and was born November 24, 1906.* She was a member of the eighth grade in the Osmond schools and on Thursday services were held in St. Mary's attended by all the children, after which they went to the cemetery to decorate the grave of their classmate with flowers
