Rev Richey married Sarah Jane WAGGONER on Feb 25, 1881 in Douglas County IL. They had nine children: Mary Jane (Mollie), Bessie, Andrew Jackson, Roxana Nevada, Ziona Faith, Raymond Theodore, Earl Alexander, Eli Leonard & Frank RICHEY.
At the time of his death, Rev Richey was labeled the "Oldest active minister in Houston". He moved to Houston in 1916 and preached at the West End Full Gospel Tabernacle.
