Beatrice "Bea" Cornell, 91, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at Seneca Hill Manor, on Thursday February 4, 2010, with several family members by her side.
Bea retired with the Central Square School District as an Elementary Cafeteria Manager. She was a member of the former Hastings Presbyterian Church and the Hastings Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Bea loved spending time with her family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Bea is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, Anthony "Tony" Cornell; daughter Joyce (Tom Weatherup) Murphy; sons Ronald A. (Lyn) and Craig S. (Lydia Mason) Cornell; nine Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and four Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, 11:00AM at the Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main Street, Central Square. Calling Hours: Tuesday, 4 to 7PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Hastings Cemetery, following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hastings Fire Department or the Hastings Cemetery.
