Married Mary Dolen in August of 1920.
Mary died 2 days prior to Albert-they were hit by a drunk driver.
Son of Jacob Ulysses(sometimes you see Urias) Garey, and Minnie L. Vincent Garey.
Albert was an auditor for WOODMEN of the WORLD Insurance.
He was brother of Frank Earl Garey.
Albert attended Wesleyan College Nebraska and was an athlete playing football and basketball. He was a member of the Everett Fraternity. He could do many tricks with a Yo-Yo.
Albert married a Catholic girl named Mary Dolen. His family of Methodists did not like this, and her family never spoke to them again. This nonsense continued after they died-and they are buried in separate cemeteries, do to their different religions. Pretty silly since neither of them practiced either religion after they married.
On the 1930 census Albert and Mary list both sets of their parents birthplaces as Minsk Russia, which was not true! I think they did this because they had been disowned by their families.

World War I Veteran, 89th Division.
Cause of death: Car Accident.
Lot owner: Jake U. Garey.
