Zella Rose Cordle, 70 died at her home in Blaine,February 8 1966, 3:00 p.m..

Born December 14 1895 in Lawrence County to Charlie and Manerva Slone Ross, she was a member of the United Baptist Church.

She was married to Minuard Cordle who survives. Other survivors are three step-daughters, Norma Cordleof Galaway, Ohio; Bernice Jenkins of Galaway, Ohio;and Maggie Cordle of Columbus, Ohio; three step-sons,Minuard Cordle of Blaine; and Walker Cordleof Columbus, Ohio.Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters,Walter Ross, Isaac Ross, Herschell Ross, all ofSunbury, Ohio; Mrs. Zara Green of Blaine; Mrs. Lilva Bayesof South Webster, Ohio; Mrs. Susie Cordle andMagdalene Bayes of Minford, Ohio; and Mrs. Cynthia Cordleof Cherokee, Ky.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 11, 11:00 a.m.at the Old Hood Church with Tommy Dalton, Tommie Bailey,and Milt Cordle officiating.
Burial was in the Old Hood Cemetery with the Paintsville Funeral Home in charge.

Located behind the Hood United Baptist Church Route 201 South,In Lawrence County near the Johnson County line.
