LEOMINSTER - Mary R. "May" (Bedard) Baldwin, 70, of 15 Elm St. died yesterday in Leominster Hospital.

She was the wife of George E. Baldwin, to whom she had been married for 47 years.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Kenneth M. Baldwin of Irvine, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara A. Bridges of Centerville, Va.; and four grandchildren.

She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Alfred and Edith (Heminway) Bedard, and had lived in this city since her marriage. She was a 1937 graduate of Fitchburg High School.

Mrs. Baldwin had been employed as an assembler for many years by the former Jayron Corp. before her retirement.

She was a member of the Leominster Senior Citizens.

The funeral will be held tomorrow from Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight.
