THOMASVILLE--Robert Lee Jarrett Sr., 75, of Salisbury St., Lexington died Saturday evening in Lexington Memorial Hospital. He was born in Davidson County, June 21, 1895, a son of Albert Lee and Belle Parrish Jarrett. He was a retired furniture worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three sons, Albert Dermont Jarrett of Rt. 5, Thomasville, William F. Jarrett of Winston-Salem, and Robert Lee Jarrett, Jr. of Biloxi, Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Louya of Holly Grove Road in Lexington and Mrs. Bessie Louya of Rt. 9, Lexington; two brothers, Lacy K. Jarrett of Rt. 9, Lexington and Luther Jarrett of Philadelphia, PA; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at J.C. Green and Sons Chapel by Rev. John M. Rufty and Rev. Fred Jurney. Burial will be in Holly Hills Cemetery.
