Mrs. Martha Goldsmith.
Martha Alkine [sic] was born in Irriquoix [sic] county, Ill., August 5, 1852, and died December 21, 1910. Shewas married in early life to Mr. Beckleywho precededher in the Great Beyond two years ago. Since that time she was married to Mr. Goldsmith She was feeling aswell as usual andwent to spend theday with her son, James Beckley. In the afternoon she was taken with paralysis, anddied very suddenly. She leaves a husband, two sons, three daughters, three sisters, five brothers, and other relatives to mourn her loss. Funeral serviceswere held at the home of her son, and were conducted by Rev. W. A. Perkins, of Webster, after which interment was made beside her former husband in the Mount Vernon cemetery.
