Michael Terrence Singleton was born March 20, 1967 in Tucson, Arizona to Mike and Dorothy Singleton. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of seven under the leadership of the late Rev. Thomas Brown.

He attended Sunnyside High School and graduated in 1985. Michael joined the US Navy in 1986. He served his country for four years. His last year in the Navy, he went to the Persian Gulf. Michael received a Good Conduct Discharge.

On March 28, 1992, he married Marlene Malone and was a devoted husband, father, and son until his sudden death.

He leaves to mourn his his death his wife, Marlene Singleton, three children, two sons; Jamal Kelly, Rashad Kelly; one daughter, Serena Kelly; eight sisters, Maxine Williams, Barbara Fields, Carolyn Henry, Cassandra Singleton, Dana Singleton, LaShonda Singleton, Sharna Singleton, Cynthia Singleton (who preceeded him in death); four brothers, Jimmy Singleton, Kent Singleton, Edward Singleton and Calvin Singleton. He also leaves parents, Mike and Dorothy Singleton and his grandparents Dossie and Margieree Williams, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
