She married Lafay "Lafe" Kirby on June 14, 1922 in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Cache County, Utah. She was a bindery worker at the Eastern Idaho Farmer and at the Post-Register Job Shop. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Born to them are Lafe Elwood (Doris Faust), Boyd Calvin (Donna Grover), Donald Edward (Betty Molen), and Donna (Clifford High/Marvin Nelson/Dean Edie).
