Lyda married Rulon Dale Pickett on May 16, 1947 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho. Born to Rulon and Lyda are Janet Lynn (Jensen), Beverly Dawn (Feiger), Valerie Jean (Everett/McRoberts) and Evan Dale. Lyda died as a result of a car accident near her home in the Woodville area of Bonneville County.
