OBITUARY: LILLIAN TOTMAN

Lillian Totman, 88, formerly of 20 Abdallah Ave., Cortland, New York, died November 11, 1997, at the Cortland Memorial Nursing Facility.

She was born Feburary 4, 1909 in Cortland, the daughter of Arza B. and Zaida (Gilbert) Austin. She was a lifelong resident of the Cortland area.

She was formerly employed in food service at SUNY Cortland.

She was a member of the Memorial Bapitst Church and of the Virgil Home Bureau and a former member of the Virgil Fireman's Auxilliary.

She is survived by a son, Ray "Jerry" (Laura) Hutchings of Cortland, and a daughter Janet (Bruce) Hollenback, of Dryden, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeacsed by her first husband, Ray C. Hutchings in 1958, and by her second husband, Milton Totman in 1973.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, with the Rev. Roger Vanderwerken officiating, interment will be at the Virgil Cemetery.
