Mr. Sweitzer was born July 18, 1886, in Vanceburg, Ky., and was the son of Anthony and Mary Jane Painter Sweitzer. He had spent most of his life in Anderson and was a retired employee of the Delco-Remy Division.
Surviving are; four sons, Henry (Clara) Sweitzer, of the Brown St. address, with whom he made his home; Charles W. Sweitzer, of Daleville, Arvid T. (Katie) Schweitzer, of Alexandria, and Robert A. Sweitzer, of Noblesville; a daughter Ms. Nora Marie Sweitzer, of Anderson, and ten grandchildren.
Friends will be recieved after noon Sunday at the Brown and Butz Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Monroe G. Schuster, pastor of the Central Christian Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
