He was the husband of 60 years of Doris E. (Eberhart) Forsberg.
Born in Woburn, he was the son of the late Ernest B. R. Forsberg and Christina (Sandburg) Forsberg. A graduate of Woburn High School, class of 1922, he attended business classes at Boston University. He worked as an accountant for a time, in addition to serving as plant manager for the former Hodgman Rubber Co. in Framingham. He held this position until his retirement in 1969.
He was a former corporator of the Framingham Savings Bank, a former vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Framingham Country Club since 1938.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Fred Forsberg of Northborough, a daughter, Janice (James) Robinson of Arlington, Texas, and five grandchildren.
