She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sharkey, on May 1, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Paterson of Rocklin, Calif.; two sons, John Klempay of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Charles Klempay of Aurora, Ill.; a brother, John Newell of Cambridge Springs; a sister, Linda Horoschuck of Edinboro; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
