James E. Moore 77, Mountain City, TN, formerly of Brownsburg, died Nov. 24, 2008. A U.S. Army Korean War veteran, he had served in Korea and Japan. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Riverview, FL, and the VFW. He had been a truck driver for Mobile Oil 32 years, retiring in 1995. He was preceded in death by wife Frances Moore and son Douglas Moore. Survivors include children Denise (Mike) Robertson and Daniel (Dori) Moore; sister Shirley (Harry) Bellamy; grandchildren Christopher Moore, Ian Robertson, and Jessica Moore. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sat. Nov. 29 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from Noon to 2 p.m. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
