He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Mr. Symons is survived by two sons, Steven Symons of Wendover, Nev., and Pete Symons of Overton, Nev.; four daughters, Mary Symons, Catherine Symons, both of Cheyenne, Karen Newstrom of San Diego and Barbara Symons of Evanston; grandchildren, Laura Newstrom, Conner Johns, Forrest Johns and Nathan Johns; sisters, Carol Wiser of California and Elaine Thompson of California.
Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral with Father Steve Titus officiating.
Burial will be Friday in Bayfield, Colo.
