He served as Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Forces, WWII Headquarters, VII Fighter Command (P-51 Mustang). He is listed as Missing in Action on September 12, 1944. He is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
