For 49 years cantor at Park Slope, Brooklyn synagogue Congregation Beth Elohim for many years. Reputedly from Kremanchug or Mohilev, Ukraine. He came to the U.S. in July 1886. His wife Jennie SHOOP / SHARP (1870-1954) was from Elizavetgrad, where Radnitz was educated. They were married 1888 in Manhattan. He was a close family friend of my ancestors (Siebels). Was a soloist with the Metropolitan Opera for three years under Anton Seidl. His father was Selman Radnitz (Radnizky) and his mother Lahra.
