GRAVESIDE SERVICES HELD NEAR WING FOR JAMES L. HUGHES

Graveside services were held for James Leonard Hughes, 71, at Mt. Herman (Hermon) Cemetery near Wing, Sunday, March 1.
Hughes, a long time resident of Wing, died in a local hospital, on February 29. He was retired watchman.
Rev. Charlie Casey and Rev. Lester Cook officiated at the graveside rites. Music was furnished by a mixed choir. Foreman's was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by six brothers, Shelby Hughes, Dixie, Ala.; Vaden and Durell Hughes, both of Baker, Fla.; Ozell Hughes, Auburndale, Fla.; L.C. Hughes, Montgomery; and Porter Hughes, Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Omie Turner, Brewton; Mrs. Mae Smith, Wing; and Mrs. Birdie Childs, Auburndale,Fla.; also several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Donell Hughes, Carthell Hughes, E.J. Smith, Durant Smith, Delmus Smith, and Harold Littles.
