---Maggie Marie Colyer was born near Browning, Missouri May 15, 1899, the daughter of John T. and Maggie Lawrence Colyer.
---She was united in marriage June 15, 1914 to Oscar Fisher at Milan, Missouri. To this union four children were born.
---She died December 22, 1948 at a hospital in Kirksville being at the age of forty-nine years, five months and seven days. Having had heart trouble the past few years, she was taken seriously ill about three weeks ago. She has resided near Elmer for several years.
---Her husband and three children preceded her in death. A daughter, Laura Bell at the age of five and two dying in infancy. Her father and one brother, Bennie, also preceded her in death.
---Surviving are her aged mother, Mrs. Maggie Colyer of Kirksville; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Collinicas of New York City; six brothers, Bryce, Grantison and Ernest Colyer, in and near Kirksville, Missouri, Kale Colyer of Orlando, Florida, James of Macon, Missouri and Sherman Colyer of Elmer; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Geottings of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mrs. Mary Johnson of near Green City, Missouri; one half-brother, John Bausell of near Mystic, Missouri, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
---Having made her peace with God she was ready to meet her Savior.
---Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.R. Davidson of the Elmer Assembly of God Church. Interment was in the Indian Hill cemetery, near Gifford, Missouri.
