Gershom died 1784 to 1789. Gershom Rogers married 14 June 1784 Abigail King, daughter of John & Mary (? ) King. Gershom was the first child of Benjamin Rogers 1736-1824 & his wife Temperance Phinney Rogers who was baptised 18 July 1738 in Brewster, Mass. Both Benjamin & Temperance Phinney Rogers were Mayflower Descendants.

From the last will and testament of Benjamin Rogers written in 1812, he mentioned his children: John, Rebecha (Waite), Temperance (Goodwin), Naomi, and Abner who d. 10-06-1774 married to Lucinda Record, (Reckard) who moved to OHIO. There is a Temperance Rogers died 1868 who was married to Anson Goodwin. They have in the record, (wife of Gershom to be Abigail King Rogers remarried to Abner Cranston).
