Mrs. Sarah Jane Harris, aged 66 years, died at her home north of Cedaredge Wednesday. She was survived by six children. Burial made in the Cedaredge cemetery.

Wednesday afternoon at her home north of Cedaredge Mrs. Sarah Jane Harris died after an illness covering several months. Mrs. Harris was born in Pennsylvania April 13, 1847, was married to John S. Harris in Rock Island, Ill., in February 1870. The family came to Colorado in 1896. Nine children blessed the union, six of whom are still living. Mr. Harris preceded her to the great beyond about two years ago. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment was made in the Cedaredge cemetery.
