Robert Lee "PaPa" Burnett was the son of Eugene Dimmit Burnett & Addie Powell McFarland. He was an Electrician. He was a lover of animals, and was always happy to take in another one at any notice .

He had several deer that hunters would find in the woods when it's mother was shot & killed during hunting season, and they always thought about "Lee" and brought the baby deer to him and he raised it on a bottle, but Prissy Gal was his favorite. I still have her mounted head.

He raised pigeons and and I ate MANY baby pancakes & baby (Pigeon) eggs for breakfast. He was also a very stern man, and could get the ole Razor Strap in a flash!!

He also took pride in his yard, and made many rock ponds, rock birdhouses, and rock gardens from all the rocks he collected on some of the family gatherings on the Colorado River in Austin, Texas where he was born.
