Services for Volene Clayton Wilson, 80, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wilson died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a native of Calloway County and a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Jenny L. Wilson of Paducah; two sons, Kent Wilson and wife, Nancy, of Kingsport, Tenn., and Carey Wilson and wife, Beth, of Paducah; four grandchildren, Alan Wilson, Ben Wilson and wife, Rebecca, Erin Wilson Kennedy and husband, Billy, and Serena Wilson; and one great-granddaughter, Tatum Anne Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wilson, and one sister, Charlene Norsworthy. Her parents were Charlie and Rosa Orr Clayton.
