Mrs. E. A. Bailey
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Bailey, 86, of 221-35th St., Newport News, died last night in Riverside Hospital after an illness of several months.
The widow of George W. Bailey, she made her home with a son, Howard Bailey. She was a native of Raleigh, N.C.
Surviving are another son, George Bailey; a daughter, Mrs. C. B. Horsley of Gloucester County; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon in Providence Baptist Church, Gloucester County, of which she was a member. The Rev. Jack V. Tesh, pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, will conduct services and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken Thursday afternoon from (Carter) Funeral Home, Newport News, to Ware Funeral Home, Gloucester County.
