He was born Nov. 25, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio. An Army Veteran of WWII, he worked at the GM Tech Center, retiring in 1990.

He loved camping, fishing, woodworking, and fixing anything broken.

Beloved husband of the late Lois V. Loretitsch (1995). Dear father of Patricia (Terry) Picard, Ronald (Natasha) Loretitsch, Roberta (Gary) Grossman, Mary (Earl) Hislop, Rita (Jeffery) Stenzel and Michael (Marie) Loretitsch. Loving grandfather of Jordan, Theodore, Raymond, Daryl, Melissa, Benjamin, Olivia, Michael and Erica and great-grandfather of Mackenzie and Cassandra. He was also survived by his sisters Dorothy Cartwright and Margaret Sray.
