"Pat" or "Till" Patten was a mining engineer who spent time in Africa in the early 30s mining gold for an English Co. He then became the manager of the Snake River Mining Co. Gold Dredge on the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. During WWII he worked for the same company (Silas Mason Co.) making munitions for the war in Lousiana. He was well respected in his professional life and beloved by his family.
