Survivors include his wife, Sue Easter of the home; one son, Tim David Easter of Harrisburg; his mother, Sally Easter of Harrisburg; one brother, Ben Easter of Weiner; two sisters, Mrs. Melvina Crouch of Harrisburg and Mrs. Martha Criner of Memphis and two grandchildren.
The body will be moved to Green-field Baptist Church and will lie in state there after 3:30 this afternoon.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Funeral services for A. J. Easter, 45, of Harrisburg, Route 1, will be at the Greenfield Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00. Rev. Danny Veteto will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers will be Melvin Rice, Dickey Crouch, Ray Owens, Ed Turner, James Williams and Larry Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Johns, Gene Crouch, Gene Vest, Johnny Traynom, Carlos Crouch and Charles Condra.
