Creighton Hatfield, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Creighton was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Gainesville to William and Hallie Hatfield. He was an Army veteran who served his country in the Korean War. He retired after cooking many years at the Fort Worth Masonic Children's Home. Creighton was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Hatfield. Survivors: Sister, Darline Booher; daughter, Karen Curry; son, Mike Hatfield and wife, Debora; stepson, Bobby; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
