BELVIDERE, ILL. — Della Mae Young Wilda, 86, a resident of Belvedere, Ill. since 1997 and formally of Florida and Marengo, Ill., died on Sunday July 18, 1999, at 11:50 am at Northwoods Care Center from a lengthy illness Mrs. Wilda was born in Tunnel City, Wis., on Dec. 22, 1912, the daughter of Leslie and Della Mae (Wilson) Goff. She married Russell W. Young on May 15 1935 in La Crosse, Wis., and Elmer Wilda on April 6 1988 in Acklawaha, Fla. She was a graduate of the Reedsburg High School Class of 1932. She is survived by her husband Elmer Wilda of Merrillan, Wis two daughters Rita (George) Schultz of Marengo, Ill., and Beverly (Richard) Goodman of Broomfield, Colo., and a son Elvin (Margaret) Young of Hampshire, Ill., two sisters Ruth Cartner of Madison, Wis., and Margie (Robert) Foss of Rock Springs, Wis., a brother Joseph Bloss Baraboo, Wis., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, four brothers Delbert Calkins, Arthur, Ellsworth, and Ralph Bloss; one sister Bonnie Doro. Private graveside rites will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, North Freedom, Wis.
