Willard and Francis married 29 Mar 1916 Dallas, Polk, OR. He worked in the hop yards probably around Monmouth or nearer to the river next to Salem.

Willard's parents Orson Lewis and Elizabeth Nichols Lewis.

Willard is third born to this family these are his sibblings...John R.(d.Wasco Co,OR 1927), Silas C., Emma Jane "Amy" Lewis Buckmaster(d.Naches,Yakima,WA 1947), Sylvanus "Vane" (d.Polk Co,OR 1935), Joseph, Noble, C.Ervin, Albert A.Bert, Emily Ellen.

BURIAL: Some information from Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home; Willard Perley Lewis buried Willamina Cemetery; his occupation farmer;
born Missouri; making arrangements are nephews Orsen Lewis and Wilson Tibbetts; niece Mrytle D. Lewis.

Buried in this same Lot 36 is his brother's (Sylvanus Ellsworth Lewis) daughter, Dolly L. Lewis. There is no marker for her either.

Thanks to my dad for being able to supply me with Willard's picture and how he grew up knowing Willard as his step-ggrandpa. Ggrandpa William Marks was deceased 1905 so my dad (b 1903) said he didn't remember him.
