He was a printing-press operator at the former Hinde and Dauch Paper Company for 42 years. He retired in 1958.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hansel, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Defeo; two sons, Don Moore and Wayne Moore; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Clayworth and Mrs. Bertha Hayes, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services 3 pm Thursday at the Simmons Chapel. Visitation after 4 pm Wednesday at the chapel.
