Services for Charles L. Nevill will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Rush, Pineville, with the Rev. Jack West officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock.

Nevill, 72, of Deville died Friday, March 14, 1997, in Avoyelles Hospital, Marksville.

He was a native of St. Johns, IL., and a retired machinist with Dresser Industries after 23 years of service. He was a member of Holloway Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal and a member of VFW Post No. 1736.

Survivors include his wife, Liddie Wiley Nevill of Deville; four sons, Chuck Nevill of Kentucky, Larry Nevill of Rochester, IL., Tommy Nevill of Springfield, IL., and Tommy Davis Biloxi, Miss.; seven daughters, Kathy Pierre of Biloxi, Miss. Brenda Tossi, Janet Nevill, and Judy Nevill, all of of Illinois; one brother, Alfred Nevill of Tioga; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
