Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie B. Mings were conducted Monday, March 6, at First Christian Church by Rev. Harlan Williams and Rev. J.A. Parker. Interment was in Brookside Cemetery.

Mrs. Mings was born in Adair County, December 27, 1897, the daughter of Mrs. Ermine Bennett Tucker and the late William Joseph Tucker, and died March 4, at Ky. Baptist Hospital in Louisville, Ky., after a short illness. She was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. She was united in marriage to John R. Mings who survives in 1912.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. W.J. Tucker, and the following children: William Ray Mings, Osaka, Japan; Jodie Mings, Route 1, City; Maurice Mings, City; Mrs. Nina Chelf, Louisville; Mrs. Regina Farmer and Mrs. Betty Rowe Vaughn, Wadsworth, Ohio; one brother, Ira Tucker, City; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Woodie Newton, Roy Walker, Roy Wethington, Melvin Douglas, Richard McMahan, and Paul Coffey.
