Edna May Potts was the wife of Ernest R. Tilton. They were married in Easton, Pa. in 1916 and lived at 822 Spring Garden Street. She caught a cold while visiting friends on N. 10th Street, and soon died while pregnant with their first child during the Spanish Influenza epidemic of 1918-1919. She was remembered by all who knew her as a fine and decent person. Mr. Tilton never re-married. Mr. Tilton was my surrogate grandfather. Mr. Tilton was the finest man I ever knew.
