Helen F. Wagner, 84, formerly of N. Hayes Road, Baldwinsville died Wednesday October 29, 2003 at Westbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville, PA.

Born in Buffalo, she and her sister Dorothy moved to Batavia in 1936 with their parents, Andrew and Florence Snyder. She was predeceased by her first husband, Garnet John Wood in 1944. Mrs. Wagner owned and operated their family farm on Hayes Road along with her second husband, Harry A. Wagner who died in 1995.

She was a member of the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church and was Treasurer for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting her friends at the Syracuse Home Association in Baldwinsville. She had a special love for her dog Corky.

Surviving: One son, Garnet James Wood of Franklin, PA. One sister, Dorothy Bash of Batavia, Five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gates Funeral Home, Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be held 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville. Contributions: Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 17 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, N.Y. 13027.
