Mrs. Grace Marcella Blankenship, 63, died Monday, July 18, 1988, at a Man hospital following a short illness.

Born Aug. 17, 1924, in Betsy Layne, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Brown Ramsey of Uneeda, and the late Rev. James Ramsey.

Mrs. Blankenship was a 45 year resident of Wyoming County, and a member of First Church of God of Oceana.

Survivors include her husband, King E. Blankenship, a son, Gary Blankenship of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, three daughters, Phyllis Boyd of Hernshaw, Delores Blankenship of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Deborah Jeffery of Palm Bay, Florida; three sisters, Helen Jarrell, Dorothy Burns, and Jackie McKinney, all of Uneeda; a brother, James Ramsey of Houston, Texas, and seven grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00AM at Evans Memorial Chapel in Oceana, with Revs. Hannibal Blankenship Jr. and Glenn R. Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery at Clear Fork.

Friends may call today from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Evans and Evans Funeral Directors in Oceana.
