SHABBONA WOMAN DIES FOLLING A STROKE
Mrs. George Ferguson, 58, of Shabbona passed away Tuesday night in the Morris hospital, having been admitted there a few hours previous following a stroke.
The former Ethel Lena Meredith was born July 18, 1887, at Cumber and in September, 1907 married George Ferguson, who survives her. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Chippi of Flint; four sons, Doyle and Larry at home, Kenneth of Pontiac and Clifton of Detroit; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Stiles of Snover, Albert Meredith of Caro, Emery Meredith of Pontiac and Chas. Meredith of Sandusky.
The remains were taken from the Little funeral home to the family residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. in the Shabbona Methodist church, which she attended.
Rev. Mr. Gibson of Reese will officiate and burial will be in Elkland cemetery.
