Married to Lyman Leroy Hayden on 3 March 1910 by the Rev. C.B.Ford in Allenville, MO. Mother of five children.

Mrs. Emma L. Hayden, 93 years old, of 1910 Bloomfield Road, died Wednesday, April 23, 1986, at Southeast Missouri Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week.
She was born Feb. 27, 1893, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Louis and Polly Statler Harmon. She married Lyman L. Hayden March 3, 1910, at Allenville. He died Sept. 20, 1963.
Mrs. Hayden had lived in Deal Nursing Home at Jackson the past three years. She was a resident of Cape Girardeau for 55 years, and was a charter member of Bethany Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Ethel Teichman, Jackson, and Mrs. Mildred Fox and Mrs. Peggy Fassel, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Harry Hayden, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glenn Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
