Grandma Holt, as she was affectionately called, will be missed by her family and friends. She was a good Christian woman, always ready and willing to help in time of sickness and trouble. She spent the greater part of her life in the Sewellton neighborhood until the last 5 or 6 years when she moved to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edith Brooks.
Funeral Services were held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Jamestown Baptist Church with Rev. H.B. Popplewell and Mr. Walter McKinney officiating. Pall bearers were 6 grandsons, Alfred, Benjamin, Woody, and Alton Holt, Edmond and Clifford Carnes. Interment in Jamestown Cemetery. H.E. Pruitt Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
