Casper Feuerstein Jr., eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Feuerstein,

Marshall street, this city. The accident happened on Thirteenth street, between
School street and Hawthorne Ave., in Two Rivers.

This morning an investigation of the accident was held at the police station in
Two Rivers by Coroner W. G. Kemper and Dist. Attorney Lyman Fischer. They

The death of young Feuerstein was caused when he with other companions, were

named Rehrauer, Gagnon and Kopetsky, were at play in the street and attempted to
climb on behind the delivery wagon of the Two Rivers Delivery company, Anton
Peserik was the driver of the wagon. He noticed their efforts to climb aboard
the running board on the wagon and stopped and chased them off. The lads
scurried across the street but young Feuerstein ran directly into the path of
the big bakery truck which was proceeding west on Thirteenth street.

after running from the delivery wagon, quickly steering toward the curbing to
avoid hitting him but the __wheel on the left side passed over him while the
truck was stopped as it ran into the curbing. The youngster was picked up and
rushed to the Two Rivers hospital where he died shortly after, with a severe
cavity in his
abdomen.Mr. M. A. Weed, 1123 Webster street, Two Rivers, the only eye witness to
the said accident, testified that he was on his way home when he saw the boys
attempting to hitch onto the delivery wagon and were ____ off. __ then he saw
the Feuerstein boy run in front of the bakery truck and that the truck came to
an immediate stop in hitting the curbing. He said he did not known how fast the
truck was going at the time.

According to Mr. Peserik, the truck passed his wagon at a speed between fifteen
and eighteen miles an hour, when the lad was struck just in the rear of the
wagon.
