DEATH CLAIMS F.J. FEUERSTEIN

Former Commercial Fisherman Dies After
Year’s Illness
Frank J. Feuerestein, 56, a widely known resident of the south
side and a resident of the city for more than a half century, died at his home
at 1919 14th street at 1:15 this morning. He had been in ill health for more
than a year.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 8:30 from the
home and at 9 o’clock a solemn high mass will be sung by the Rev. Peter Nilles
at St. Mark’s Catholic church. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery. The
body will be taken to the residence from the Klein and Stangel, Inc., funeral
home tonight.

Mr. Feuerstein was born in Germany, March 28, 1879 and at the
age of two years immigrated to this country with his parents, the late Martin
and Margaret Lurz Feuerstein, settling in Two Rivers, where he resided since.
For many years, the deceased operated a commercial fishing rig, retiring from
the business 14 years ago. Up to three months ago he was employed at the
Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company.

On Nov. 28, 1908 he was married to
Miss Selma Ribitzky of this city, who survives him with four daughters, Sister
M. Anthelma of Victoria, Kansas; and the Misses Eunice, Bernice and Ruth, at
home, and two sons, Francis and Robert, also at home. He also leaves a sister,
Mrs. Walter Luebke of this city, and three brothers, Paul of this city, Bernard
of Marshfield and Casper Feuerstein of this city.
