Marion – Anna Helen Turner, 83, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania on December 30, 1926 to the late John and Josephine (Ruza) Chelko. She married James A. Turner and he died on November 4, 1990. She retired in 1992 from Thomson Consumer Electronics after 38 years of employment. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Gas City, Jednota A. Slovack Society, was an avid reader and enjoyed working outside and sewing.

Survivors include, daughter, Rose Turner, Marion; dog, Sophie, and cat, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband; daughter, Dr. Nicki C. Turner; and 7 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Needham-Storey- Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City Indiana with a Prayer Vigil that evening.

Funeral Mass is at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church 325 E. North ‘A' Street, Gas City Indiana with Reverend Christopher Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
