Donald was born December 28, 1950 to parents Rosco Rogers and Ruby Chavis Rogers. He proudly served our country during Vietnam in the United States Army. Donald was a singer songwriter for most of his life, having composed numerous songs that meant so much to his family and friends. To his family and friends he was also the "Super Hero", always there and willing to help anyway he could. To his grandkids he was simply the best pawpaw in the world.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 22 years Donna Rogers of Onalaska, loving children Thomas Shoemaker and wife Angela Burks of Onalaska, Nashana Webb and husband Rex Findley of Willis, and William Shoemaker of Onalaska. He is also survived by his grandchildren Serena Burks, Austin Burks, Thomas Shoemaker, Stormie Shoemaker, Donna Marsh, Hailey Webb, Haley Findley, Sydney Findley, Joseph Findley, and his his sister Sandy Hoard of South Carolina. Numerous extended family and friends also survive him.
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Shoemaker, Rex Findley, Austin Burks, Serena Burks, Angela Burks, and Jessie Smith.
