A 1973 survey of the Murchison graveyard (aka Twin Cemetery) performed by Elizabeth Pendleton and Eldridge Pendleton showed that they found a grave marked only with bois d' arc stakes which was "supposed to be the grave of W.T. Allison". It is not known with any certainty who provided that information, however grandchildren of W.T. Allison acquainted with Elizabeth Pendleton were still living in Farmersville at that time.
